Acts of Kindness – Currently Full
Help us show some love to our city through various Acts of Kindness, such as providing flowers to an assisted living center, handing out bottles of water, giving out quarters at local laundromats and more.
Details – 10am -12pm at the North Campus, family friendly.
Bags of Hope Packing Party – Currently Full
We will be collecting food items for our ongoing Bags of Hope program. Volunteers will sort through the food donations and pack bags.
Details – 10am -12pm at the Bags of Hope Cornelius Warehouse (18535 Old Statesville Rd, Unit H), family friendly.
Give the gift of life! Sign up to donate blood at the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas Blood Mobile during one of our morning services at both campuses on Sunday, September 29th. Please sign up prior to Sunday morning. Visit cbcc.us for more information.
Details – September 29th, 9am-1pm at both North Campus and Metro Campus. *Must be 18+ years old or 16+ with parental consent.
This is a great family friendly volunteer opportunity! We will collect (bake or buy) items to put together in baskets to then take to local fire stations to show our thanks for all their hard work! We will have 2 groups for the Northlake area and Metro area.
Details – North 10am-12pm, starting at either North or Metro Campus, then visiting Fire Stations around the area.
Foster Village – Currently Full
Foster Village supports the children, foster families, kinship families, and/or biological families by creating a village of support during their time of crisis. Volunteers will help out with a “Mom’s Gathering” at the center by providing and setting up breakfast and coffee, and sharing cards of encouragement for the women. Volunteers may also prepare freezer meals and bring back to the foster village location so each mom will have dinner to take home. If needed, volunteers may also provide childcare for the event.

International Tea – Currently Full
Come join the tutor’s and students of our new English Tutoring Program at the Metro Campus which helps adults over 18 improve their English skills. Volunteers will make or purchase light snacks and bring your favorite tea and/or tea serve ware and help serve and socialize. Event is from 10-11am. Volunteers will arrive 30min early to setup and stay an additional 30min afterwards to help clean up.

Metro Beautification – Currently Full
We will be doing some painting and beautification projects around the Midwood International Community Center, the location of our Metro campus.

Winding Springs Elem Garden Spruce Up – Currently Full
Winding Springs Elementary School is a Title 1 school that Mosaic has partnered with to serve the staff and teachers. We will help spruce up their garden area.
